Rivers, Adam, Saoirse and Senan took part in the Spelling Bee knock out round. They did extremely well. Saoirse got through to the County Final in Galway on April 10th. Well done Saoirse.
The school was invited to Portumna Community School to celebrate the hurling achievements of Joe Canning.

We held our annual Book Fair from March 9th – 16th It was open to parents and the children to browse around or purchase books. It raised €330 worth of books for the school library.

We had our usual pancake feast on Pancake Tuesday with the children enjoying their pancakes with a mix of their favourite toppings. 6th class did a great job of hosting the event.
The children invited their grandparents to the school on Thursday 8th, February for Grandparents Day. It was our way of saying “Thank You” for all the wonderful things they do. The children had a prayer service, followed by a chat, tea and biscuits and a few songs. It was a very special day.
The children took part in the Peace Proms which were held in the Kingfisher Hall, NUI Galway on January 20th.
