Congratulations to Rory, Ella, Iola, Lily and Aoife who made their First Holy Communion in Gortanumera church on Saturday 13th May.
The Scholastic Book Fair came to the school from the 3rd March to 7th March. The children also dressed up for World Book Day.
The children in Ms Ryan’s Room competed in the FAI 5s competition in Portumna F.C. They competed in a lot of matches and played very well.
All the children took part in an African Drumming workshop. They had a fun time!
The children had pancakes with chocolate spread or lemon and sugar for Pancake Tuesday. They were enjoyed by all!!
Congratulations and well done to Emma, Kate, Halle, Emma, Sarah, Iola, Lily, Ella, Aoife and their team on winning the U8s – U12s Shield and Cup Finals last night.
Congratulations to Miya and the Killimor U13 Camogie Team on winning the Group 3 League Cup.
Each class performed their Nativity plays for their families on 15th December. They were all super and it was a huge success.
The children had great fun dressing up and having a party for Halloween.
On 6th October 4th – 6th class students took part in a Hurling Blitz which was organised by the Transition Year students in Portumna Community School. We played many teams and it was a really enjoyable day.
