We held our annual Book Fair from March 7th – 11th The children could browse around or purchase books. It raised €284 worth of books for the school library.
Sixth class surprised Ms. Ryan for her birthday. Happy birthday Ms. Ryan.
We celebrated Pancake Tuesday on March 1st. A huge tank you to 6th class who took the orders and delivered tasty pancakes to all the children.
The children dressed up in their spooky Halloween costumes. There was be a Halloween party with lots of fun, treats and games. The children did a lip-sync, dance and a fashion show.
The children took part in the Food Dudes healthy eating programme from October 4th – 8th. They tasted fruit and vegetables every day and got a prize at the end of the week.
On Friday 10th of September, the students from 4th to 6th class had a Lantern Workshop which the Shorelines Art Festival organised. They made beautiful lanterns which they brought in to the Shorelines Art Festival to display.
2nd and 3rd class went on their school tour to Wildlands in Moycullen on June 8th. The children had great fun in the woods doing bushcraft activities. After that, they had a great time climbing and zip-lining in the Junior Trek Zone. They had a lovely hot lunch and the children really enjoyed the day.
Congratulations to Allie Callanan, Eve Madden, Tara Madden, Ella Gillane, Katie Dolphin, Luke Callanan, Anna Fahy, Hayden McKenna, Miya Callanan and Emma Muldoon on +not missing a day at school this year. They all got a trophy for their great achievement.
We wish Ms Madden the very best of luck for her wedding day on 17th July. We had a little surprise for her on the last day of the school term.
Some of the 3rd 4th, 5th and 6th class had a lip sync battle which kept us all entertained on the last day of the school year. They were all brilliant and you should be so proud of them.
