5K Fun Run/Walk 2017

The Board of Management held a 5k Fun Run/Walk on Sunday, the 11th of June. It was a great success and we are very grateful to all who supported it. Mark Cox was the first child back. 6th Class Graduation Mass 2017

On Wednesday 31st of May our 6th class boys, Nathan, David and Simon had their Graduation Mass, presentation of medals and certificates.  They celebrated this occasion with their families, teachers, Fr Byrnes and Monica. Spelling Bee 2017

Junior Room School Tour 2017

The Junior Room went off to Athlone to Glendeer Pet Farm and Jump4Joy on their school tour on May 5th.  They had a fantastic day and were all very tired by the time they got home!   

Senior Room School Tour 2017

On Thursday May 4th the Senior Room hit Athlone to Baysports for our school tour. We had an amazing and challenging day with both land and water activities.  We really enjoyed it and were wrecked by the time we got home!

First Confession 2017

Rugby Training Session

Eimear from Connacht Rugby came to the school on the 31st of March for a training session with the Senior Room. It was in conjunction with Connacht Rugby and Aldi. They had a very enjoyable day and were put through their paces!!  

John Muldoon – Pro 12 Captain visits Portumna

On Thursday the 2nd of February 2017, our school was invited by Derry Long, Principal of Portumna Community School to attend the Connacht Rugby Team coming to Portumna and John Muldoon’s role as captain in winning the Pro 12.
