Pizza Making at Supermacs

Emma and Olivia Muldoon organised for the whole school to go to Supermacs to make pizzas.  The children really enjoyed making and eating their pizzas! It was a wonderful way to spend a morning. 

5K Fun Run/Walk

2017 All Ireland Hurling Champions Visit

On September 11th past pupils Joe Canning, Martin Dolphin and Jack Canning brought the Liam McCarthy Cup and the Irish Press Cup to our school.  They were greeted by the teachers, children, parents, grandparents and neighbours. Maroon & White Day

The children dressed up in Maroon & White building up the excitement to the All-Ireland Hurling Finals in Croke Park on Sunday 3rd September. Best of luck to our past pupils Joe Canning, Jack Canning and Martin Dolphin. Bring home the Cups!! 

Gate Painting Day

Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to come and paint the gates. They did a fantastic job and we are very grateful to you all.

Sports Day 2017

We held our Sports Day on the 20th June. There were many fun novelty races. The children had ice –cream to cool them down at lunchtime.  They all got a gold medal for their participation. Everyone enjoyed the day. 

Portumna FC Awards

Congratulations to the children in Portumna FC who received medals from the club at the clubs awards night.  Also, congratulations to Andrew for getting Most Improved Player of the year for the U11’s  and congratulations to David Greenwood who captained the u13s to victory of the shield this year.
